Mcveystudio Design is a Los Angeles based design studio focusing on finding creative solutions for the most complex and challenging projects. With over two decades of experience working on everything from furniture to large scale mixed-use commercial developments, Mcveystudio approaches all projects, large or small, with the same intensity and commitment. Pulling from our vast experience as well as our inherent curiosity and appetite to learn, we work with our Clients to understand not only their direct needs, but how we can exceed those needs in a more comprehensive, beneficial, and impactful way.

JOEJOHN MCVEY
Founding Principal
Joejohn McVey is a Los Angeles based designer originally from Florida. He is trained as an Architect with a extensive understanding of the design and construction process. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Design from the University of Florida (BA 1996) and a Master of Architecture from Southern Institute of Architecture “SCI-Arc” (MA 1999). Joejohn’s professional career spans over two decades, working with some of the most prominent Architects and Designers of our time. His experience includes a vast body of work on award-winning projects ranging from residential, retail, commercial, hospitality, entertainment, and large-scale mixed-use developments both nationally as well as internationally. Working in past firms with the likes of Gehry Partners (formerly Frank Gehry and Associates), The Jerde Partnership, as well as leading global developer Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, his skills and dedication to the profession have made him a sought after commodity among his peers.
